  More of an Australian corporate retail experience than a burger shop, you need to answer about 30 questions to order your meal, including which charity you would like to donate to. Beef patties are the most manufactured and tasteless out of anywhere, they seem to have been frozen. Burger bun types are always a bit wrong (like damper covered in flour) and not particularly fresh. Grilll'd is a chain from a previous era, before a massive new wave of high quality burgers became the norm in Australia (starting with places like Mary's in Newtown). Grill'd has not been able to catch up, or feels that it has to maintain its niche. Tourists seem to love it without realizing it's probably the worst burger available in Australia. Just try an ordinary fish and chip shop in a suburban area for an old fashioned Aussie style burger with a slice of beetroot or pineapple (pretty much what Grill'd is trying to be) or stick with one of the standard American style burgers that know how to combine flavours propperly, like Mary's, Burger Project, Brooklyn Depot, or Pub Life Kitchen down the road at Ultimo.
